Teddi Mellencamp, best known for her role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, was hospitalized on Tuesday after doctors detected numerous tumors in her brain. The 43-year-old reality actress had been suffering from terrible, painful headaches for several weeks before seeking medical assistance, she said in a touching Instagram post on Wednesday.

“My pain got intolerable yesterday, and I needed to be hospitalized. “After a CT scan and an MRI, doctors discovered multiple tumors on my brain, which they believe have been growing for at least six months,” Mellencamp told her fans. “Two of the tumors will be surgically removed today, and the smaller ones will be treated with radiation later.

Mellencamp expressed profound thanks for the outpouring of support she has received. “I am incredibly lucky to be surrounded by my children, family, friends, physicians, nurses, and surgeons who are doing everything possible to help me recover. “Thank you to everyone who has reached out and supported me on this journey,” she stated.

In a separate Instagram story, Mellencamp delivered a personal message from her father, artist John Mellencamp. “As my father remarked this morning, ‘God only delivers hard things to those of us who can manage it.’ It’s been a difficult day, but I have faith in my excellent surgeons and know everything will be OK,” she stated.

Mellencamp’s close pals, including RHOBH star Kyle Richards and singer Morgan Wade, have hurried to her side as she prepares for surgery. Mellencamp recorded a moment with them in her hospital room, saying, Yup, here we go a cheerful and determined demeanor despite the difficult circumstances.

Gillie Da Kid, a well-known Philadelphia native, recently spoke out about the murder of his son, Devin Spady, over two years ago, stating that authorities had informed him of a link between his son’s death and that of local high school basketball prodigy Noah Scurry. According to Gillie, even though his kid was tragically killed in the incident, the shots were not intended for him.

Devin Spady, 25, was killed, and two other males were injured when gunfire erupted in the 5800 block of Mascher Street. Despite the heartbreaking loss, Philadelphia police have not made any arrests in connection with the deadly triple shooting.

Scurry, a 17-year-old top athlete at Samuel Fels High School, was tragically shot on January 14 in what police think was a targeted shooting. The shooting happened at 7 a.m. in an alley behind Rohrer Street, and investigators say about 20 rounds were fired. The Philadelphia School District praised Scurry as an outstanding student and athlete, noting that he recently achieved the highest SAT scores in his school community. His terrible demise caused shockwaves throughout his school and neighborhood, leaving many people devastated.

According to the inquiry, a white Jeep Cherokee was most likely involved, with at least two gunmen exiting the car, potentially with a third driving. However, investigators have yet to determine a motive or provide any information on prospective suspects.

To make matters worse, sources found that Scurry was involved in a previous shooting in the 4600 block of Mulberry Street in May 2023, which resulted in the death of a man in his 60s.

Gillie Da Kid spoke with Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay about his son’s murder and the police’s findings. When asked if he had ever met the person responsible for his son’s death, Gillie replied, “I have never met him. The only reason I knew was that the cops called me after he was slain. The boy had been shot 17 times and was walking with his mother when he died.”

In a deeply emotional interview, Ryan Dorsey, Naya Rivera’s ex-husband, has revealed new and heartbreaking details about the day the Glee star tragically died at age 33. Rivera drowned on July 8, 2020, while swimming with their then-4-year-old son, Josey, at Lake Piru in Ventura County, California.

Dorsey, 41, told People magazine in his first interview since Rivera’s death that Josey still feels guilty about not being able to save his mother. “Something he keeps saying is that he was trying to find a life raft, and there was a rope, but there was a big spider on the rope, and he was too scared to throw it,” according to Dorsey. “I keep assuring him, ‘Buddy, that rope wasn’t going to be long enough.’

Josey, now nine, had been swimming with Rivera when their boat began to float. Rivera, recognizing they didn’t have an anchor or flotation equipment, instructed Josey to swim back to the boat. Dorsey said, “Josey remembers grabbing ‘the tanks’ and pulling himself ‘around the boat,'” but Rivera did not make it back.

According to the incident report, Rivera wore herself out trying to get Josey back into the boat. “The last thing she said was his name, and then she went under,” Dorsey exclaimed, choking up. “It just rocks my world that he had to witness her final moments.

Dorsey was shopping at a small store in Big Bear Lake, California, when he realized Rivera had gone missing. “I instantly feared the worst,” he remembered. Rivera’s mother’s husband called to alert him that she was missing and Josey had been discovered safe on the boat. “I collapsed into a pallet of drinks,” Dorsey explained. Overwhelmed by emotion, he quickly hopped into his car and drove the 145 kilometers to Lake Piru, speeding the entire time and chain-smoking cigarettes despite not being a smoker. “I just wanted to get to Josey,” he stated.

After five agonizing days of searching, Rivera’s body was discovered in a remote part of the lake. “When it happened, I just found myself shaking my head like, ‘I can’t believe she’s gone,'” Dorsey shared. “It’s still so surreal every day.”

Dorsey and Josey navigate life without Naya, and he says that the holidays are especially difficult. “We made this book of memories for Josey that sits by his bed, and during the holidays, he was crying looking at it,” Dorsey told me. “You can just give him a hug and tell him, ‘I understand that life is unfair. Bad things happen for no reason.’ It’s difficult to explain something you don’t understand, regardless of your age.

Dorsey also expressed his struggles with finding meaning in such a tragic loss. “I’m not a big believer in everything happens for a reason because I can’t ever think of a reason why he doesn’t have his mom.”

Dorsey and Rivera’s estate filed a wrongful death case against Ventura County, Parks and Recreation Management, and the United Water Conservation District shortly after Rivera died. They alleged that the rental agent failed to warn Rivera about the lake’s hazardous circumstances, such as strong currents and submerged debris, which contributed to the catastrophe.

Dorsey reflected on the almost death of both his wife and kid, saying, “If we’d lost both Naya and Josey, I don’t know how I’d go on with my life.” I am not sure what I would have done, but I am certain it would not have been good.
