The video, which has over 40,000 views, shows Boebert dancing while chatting with Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie.

Page Six claimed seeing the two get into a taxi together, though Newsweek has not independently verified these reports. Newsweek also contacted Boebert’s press office for comment, but has yet to get a response.
This occurrence follows Boebert recent personal struggles. In May 2023, she filed for divorce from her spouse, Jayson Boebert, which was finalized in October. In September 2023, she and a partner were removed out of a Beetlejuice performance due to complaints about their disruptive behavior, which included vaping, singing, and using phones. Boebert originally rejected the charges, but then apologized after security footage appeared to substantiate them.
In January 2024, Jayson Boebert faced legal issues, being charged in relation to an altercation with his wife at a restaurant in Silt, Colorado. This was followed by a physical dispute with their 18-year-old son. In response, Lauren Boebert sought a temporary restraining order, making serious claims against her ex-husband, including harassment and child abuse allegations. Naomi Watts reunites with her St. Vincent co-star, Bill Murray, in the highly anticipated 2024 indie dramedy The Friend. The film premiered at the Telluride Film Festival, where it quickly gained buzz and was later acquired by Bleecker Street. It also screened at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and the New York Film Festival (NYFF). Watts takes on the role of Iris, a woman whose quiet New York life is turned upside down after her close friend and mentor, Walter (Murray), unexpectedly passes away and leaves her his beloved Great Dane, Apollo.
The official synopsis of the film reveals the challenges Iris faces with the imposing 150-pound dog: “the regal yet difficult animal serves as a constant reminder of Walter and brings a host of issues— yet, as Iris grows closer to Apollo, she begins to navigate her grief, her lost friendship, and her own creative journey.”
The film’s ensemble cast includes Sarah Pidgeon, Carla Gugino, Constance Wu, Noma Dumezweni, Ann Dowd, Felix Solis, and Owen Teague, alongside breakout canine actor Bing, who plays the towering Great Dane, Apollo. Based on Sigrid Nunez 2018 National Book Award-winning novel, The Friend marks Nunez’s second adaptation in 2024, following the release of The Room Next Door, which inspired Pedro Almodóvar’s latest project.
Directed and co-written by David Siegel and Scott McGehee, the pair are no strangers to the festival circuit, with The Friend being their second collaboration with Bleecker Street after their 2021 neo-Western Montana Story. Both Siegel and McGehee also served as producers, alongside Liza Chasin and Mike Spreter. Watts and Margaret Chernin executive produced the film.
Bleecker Street has published the first trailer for The Friend, fueling even more anticipation for the picture. In The Friend, Iris (Watts) is a teacher and writer whose quiet life in New York is upended when her mentor Walter (Murray) abandons her and his prized Great Dane, Apollo. the gorgeous yet rebellious dog brings more than just practical concerns, such furniture ruin and eviction notices. His presence acts as a continual reminder of Walter’s complicated life choices, but as Iris develops a bond with the dog, she begins to confront her history and her own changing inner life.
In his review of the film from Telluride, Deadline’s Pete Hammond praised it as “moving, funny, humane, and unforgettable,” calling it a must-see for anyone who’s ever loved a pet. The film’s stellar cast also features Sarah Pidgeon, Constance Wu, Ann Dowd, Noma Dumezweni, Felix Solis, Owen Teague, and Carla Gugino.
The Friend will be released in New York theaters on March 28 before expanding nationwide on April 4. Following the success of titles like Hard Truths, The Return, and Love Me, Bleecker Street’s 2025 slate also includes Andrew Ahn’s remake of The Wedding Banquet, which will debut on August 18 after its world premiere at Sundance. Tuesday night’s High Potential finale left audiences with more burning questions than answers as Morgan and the LAPD narrow in on the mysterious disappearance of her ex, Roman Sinquerra. the episode kicks off with a tip received by the LAPD while discussing their upcoming police gala, an event Soto has insisted the entire Major Crimes unit attend. The tip turns out to be a disturbing photo of a man being held hostage, accompanied by a chilling note that reads, “Spencer Wallace wouldn’t play with me, will you. the man in the photo is presumed to be Spencer wallace, holding a sign that read Two hours to make your move.
The investigation leads the team to Spencer’s apartment, where they discover a puzzle left on his doorstep with a note that says, “Let’s play. Back at the station, Morgan cracks the puzzle, revealing an elevation map of the Hollywood Hills, but with a key piece missing – another clue. She and Karadec head to the location corresponding to the missing piece, where they uncover the next stage of the twisted game. this time, the challenge is “Loco Ocho,” and they must figure out which of two paths to take. The second path leads them to hopscotch patterns drawn on the ground, which Morgan uses to decipher coordinates. Looking through a viewfinder at the top of a hill, she determines the next destination: a storage facility in the distance, where they finally find Spencer.
But the case doesn’t end there. Amid their search for Spencer, Morgan receives a visit from Gio, the last person to see Roman alive. In a diner over soup, Gio reveals a possible lead a woman named Lila Flynn, who may hold the key to Roman’s disappearance. however, Morgan has little time to process this new information because the next day brings a chilling new lead in the kidnapper case. Someone has left a stroller full of creepy baby dolls at the venue for the upcoming police gala, each doll holding Scrabble tiles that spell out: “The fun has just begun.”
Oz, who has been quietly observing, speaks up and mentions he recognizes Spencer from a grief group he attends. He suspects the kidnapper could be tied to this group, prompting the team to investigate further. As they delve into the group, the tension builds, with Morgan and Karadec (Daniel Sujata) racing to connect the dots.
The finale leaves viewers on the edge of their seats, especially when Karadec drops a bombshell Roman is alive. he even knows where Roman is, but viewers will have to wait for Season 2 to discover more. Harthan, the show’s creator, revealed that while they want to keep the mystery surrounding Roman’s fate alive, introducing him too soon could overwhelm the show. “It’s tricky to get right,” Harthan explained. “If we bring that storyline in too early, it could take over the show.”
Harthan went on to describe the challenges of creating a serial villain for the show. “We wanted to make sure it felt fresh and different from other procedurals,” he said. “It’s important not to go too dark or slip into a tone we didn’t want. We didn’t want it to feel like Criminal Minds or an episode of Se7en. It’s about finding that balance.”
Season 1 of High Potential ended with a high-stakes cliffhanger, setting up thrilling possibilities for the future. As the show moves into Season 2, fans can expect more answers, but also deeper mysteries that will keep them guessing until the very end.

The Apprentice, directed by Iranian-Danish filmmaker Ali Abbasi, is a fascinating drama about a teenage Donald Trump falling under the spell of legendary lawyer Roy Cohn in the 1970s. the film, which premiered at Cannes in May, struggled to secure funding and a release in the United States. However, it has subsequently received unexpected Oscar attention, with Sebastian Stan obtaining a Best Actor nod for his portrayal of Trump and Jeremy Strong receiving a Best Supporting Actor consideration for his work as the vicious, secretive Cohn. Cohn, who taught Trump the brutal survival methods that would determine his future, is described as a character who ingrained in him the motto of always attacking, denying everything, and never admitting defeat.
Strong discusses his approach to playing Cohn, admitting that he initially thought the character disgusting and infantile. “He’s part ghoul, part Lost Boy, part kingmaker, and part Iago,” Strong says. the actor recalls that few years ago, another filmmaker approached him about playing Cohn, even though a script had yet to be written. Strong got interested with Cohn’s demeanor after watching films about his life, particularly Matt Tyrnauer’s Where’s My Roy Cohn? “It was impossible to reconcile aspects of his character,” Strong says, pointing out that Cohn’s internal contradictions were crucial to his portrayal. “Self-denial was the dark heart of it for me.”
Strong’s research into Cohn’s life included reading books written by Cohn himself, as well as studying Sidney Zion’s acclaimed biography and a treasure trove of archival material. Strong immersed himself in Cohn’s numerous talk show appearances, even rewatching a famous interview with Gore Vidal. “I just watched it until my eyes turned blue,” he says, gesturing humorously to his eyes.
Stan found it as difficult to represent a younger Trump. the two actors, who have been navigating the film’s rollercoaster ride, spent sleepless nights coming up to the Cannes premiere, where the picture initially received attention. Despite receiving a cease and desist letter from Trump, the film received a mixed welcome from U.S. distributors. However, Briarcliff Entertainment stepped in, and the picture was eventually scheduled for release on the eve of the US presidential election. to their astonishment, both Stan and Strong have gotten Oscar nods for their roles, adding a new level of notoriety to the project.
In a recent conversation with Deadline, the two actors reflected on the film’s turbulent journey. “We’ve just taken it a day at a time,” Stan says, reflecting on the emotional and professional challenges they’ve faced.
