One typical day at the grocery store was the beginning of my teen love story with Zion. I met the boy who would eventually become the center of my world there when I was shopping with my mother. Meeting Zion for the First Time
One day I went with my mom to buy grocery items for the house as I often go. We entered the market and started buying items. But we forgot to take the trolley. My mom told me to go to Rylee and get the trolley from there. When we went there to take the trolley, a boy was looking at me. He said to me, “excuse me, do you need any help?” I said no thanks.
He was a staff member of the same store. It was visible from her dress. But he was looking very cute. I had gone to that market many times before but I never saw him. Maybe he was a new joinee in the store.
I could still recall him when I got home. But these things are common; even though you can chat to anyone, it will automatically fade from your memory. However, I was disregarding this matter. I didn’t consider this to be important. I was doing everything I could to maintain my normalcy.
After two days, I told my mother that we would go to the grocery today to get pizza; we had not bought pizza the previous time. We shall return in a short while . I visited the grocery store again with my mom.
As soon as I arrived at the market, my eyes began to hunt for that boy. But I didn’t see him anywhere. I suspected he had avoided his job. Then I grabbed the pizza packet and went to have the billing done. Today, I noticed him doing something at the bill counter. As soon as I saw him, I felt a sense of calm within me. This was the first time I experienced a nice emotion when seeing someone. He looked at my eyes, and I looked at his. I sensed a lot of tranquility in his gaze. It’s as if she wants to hug and remain with me.
Coming back home I would just remember his face and get an idea. How can someone be so attractive. Till date I have not seen such a person. I go everywhere with mom. But I myself was not able to understand how I was getting attracted so quickly by a normal boy working in the supermarket. Now I was feeling like seeing him again. But this time all the essential items were available at home. This time I did not have any excuse. And if I suddenly call mom then maybe mom will say and I will also go. Then my whole plan will go waste.
A week had passed and I used to miss him a lot. And now there was a need of many things at home. So I said to mom with a smile, should I go to the super market alone this time? Mom said if you feel you can go to the market alone then definitely go and anyway, now you are 18 years old, so I want you to learn to manage things alone. I was very happy to hear this and I also knew that even if I talk to mom, she would not refuse at all. I went to the super market the next day but I was feeling a little scared today because I was alone.

I exchanged my number and got the billing done and came back home. Mom asked as soon as I reached there. I did not face any problem. But now how should I tell mom that I have lost my heart on someone today. Well, I replied to mom with a smile. I did not face any problem. Infact I took help from a market staff guy to hold the trolley. Then mom smiled and said that you did not take help from the same boy who was staring at you again and again that day. When I went last time, he was standing near the billing counter. It was as if you knew someone else..
I said it is not like that Mom, that boy is very nice, I met him today, he is a singer. He also goes to some academy for practice.
Mom -today you told him all these things.
